See a bit of yourself in a mosaic mirror made as a gift for someone you love this holiday season. For a parent and child (aged 11 and up), make a framed 10 x 10" mosaic with embedded mirror. An individual will work on an framed 8" x 8"mosaic with embedded mirror. And then, make small holiday mosaic bird or fish ornaments to hang on a tree or in a window.
Enjoy a Sunday exploring the ancient art of mosaics. Using glass, ceramic tile, pottery or stone, create a wall mirror. Learn how to cut tile, lay them out to form a design, and attach the completed image using professional mosaic techniques. Designs can be done from a template or a from an original pattern you create.
Use of tools, thinset, grout, included. Cost of glass tiles is an additional fee depending on size of project. Approximately $15 – $25.
Workshop cost is $75 per person ($70 for EWM members)
