Construct a magnetic top that makes wire dance. Construct a Homopolar Motor: the simplest connection of a magnet and battery. Learn to use a compass and map to explore our site and the art of navigation.
*Because...know your materials. These projects use Neodymium magnets which are an essential part of new technology. Neodymium is mined and processed mostly in China. We are tracing the roots of our magnets to encourage sustainable production and trade.
