2013 Summer Program
Think of the Puddle Duck Racer as the nautical equivalent of the Soap Box Derby racer. PDR is a development class sailboat – meaning that there is lots of room for invention. In 5 days, you will assemble the PDR kits which we produced on our CNC routers. These boats include the hull with flotation tanks, rudder, lee board and a poly sail.
At this point, the basic boat is ready to paint (or to take home and paint.) We are also offering a second week to paint your PDR boat, make oars and in general, bring the boat to a high degree of finish.
